It was a wonderful session. You entertained, informed, challenged and created an intimate, safe, environment where colleagues could experiment and focus. It was busy and relaxed; the time passed all too quickly. If only all teachers could have the benefit of your experience and wisdom, energy and knowledge. Isobel Clark, deputy head teacher

Your workshops were both inspirational and healing. Susannah Foulds-Elliot, singer and teacher

Thank you so much for the day last week. Many, many people told me how much they enjoyed it. It was a terrific way of allowing the team to bond and explore and think differently about things. Sabrina Broadbent, FilmClub

I so appreciated your affirming and equalising qualities whereby despite all your expertise and experience in various fields repeatedly used your own humanity (in its vulnerability as well as strength) to encourage and empower us. Maybe that is partly why so many people said they felt better at the end of the day than they did at the beginning. Rachel Penney, Pastoral Counsellor

An excellent course – I feel really well equipped with lots of ideas for assessment and treatment, and increased confidence as a result of attending. Really informative and presented in a way to enhance learning. As a fairly new voice therapist I like lots of therapy ideas as well as assessment skills so I know what to do with what I’ve found, and I got lots! Two SLT participants on the Birmingham Voice Skills Course

What a stimulating session – reflective and empowering. Mindful of the individual and of the inner self. Neuroscience embedded in our work . Therapeutic and clinically helpful at the same time. A lovely, well-led practical session with very useful pointers for research. Christina handled it all beautifully. Her manner, her passion for her subject, her generosity of spirit were such a pleasure Deeply thoughtful and a carefully detailed sharing and extending of ideas. Brilliant ideas to take away and enjoy A great combination of practical work supported and underpinned by the theory. Lots to think about and take away. Christina never fails to give 100%. Comments from voice practitioners at the Annual Study Meeting of the Voice Care Network UK September 2 2013
